One of the houses on the way to the farmer's market. This is the official end of the CSA season, and I miss their vegetables already. I'm not quite sure I can distinguish non-organic from organic produce, but I found the CSA veggies to be extremely flavorful and fresh.
One of the last things I did with my supply of winter squash was to bake a quiche with squash and onions in it. Although the way I do quiche, it makes it more like an omelette with a flaky crust.
I really love the colors though. Quiche is a good dish to make because it is so easy to cut it up and eat it for lunch the next few day(s).
